Summer Art Camp Information

Ms. Parris’ Summer Art Camps 2025
Where Creativity Blooms All Summer Long!

General Info:

  • Ages: 6 years – 12 years 

  • Time: Monday–Thursday, 9:30 AM–12:30 PM

  • Thursday: Art Show Party (11:30–12:30 PM)

  • Location: Private Studio, Frisco, TX *(Location will be sent in your confirmation email)

  • Price: $195- $200 per camp

  • Small groups: Only 9 spots per week

  • We will spend some time outside playing with water to have some fun mental breaks so bring a towl, wear sunscreen and some water clothes/shoes/sandals!

    •  (You do NOT have to  play in the water… please let Ms. Parris if you choose not to 😊)

🐻 Week 1: Chrome Teddy (May 26–29)

  • Paint a stunning chrome teddy bear on canvas (realism)

  • Make a fluid art (drip art) modern bear sculpture to take home too

  • Learn highlights, shine, and value

  • Art Show with two take-home masterpieces

🎨 Week 2: Drawing and Painting (June 2–5)

  • Utilize the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create masterful work 

  • See how these fundamentals work together  and take something you can be proud of
  • I work with your artist to develop their skills and creation process to work towards potential contest entry pieces

💙Week 3: Alice in Wonderland Tea Party (June 9–12)

 

  • Paint Alice, the Cheshire Cat, and rose bushes, and a clock in surrealism 

  • Create whimsical storybook paintings that will wow anyone!

  • Thursday: Real fashion code tea party & themed art show!

  • Learn to design characters and interact with color palettes 

  • Create dynamic scenes full of action and perspective 

  • Practice light, shadow, and detail through focused projects

  • Art Show features gallery-style displays of students’ creations

🌌 Week 7: Mystical Creatures (July 14–17)

  • Paint dragons, fairies, phoenixes, and sea monsters

  • Create your own mythical character with name and powers

  • Magical art show with fantasy decor and themed awards

  • Learn to design characters and interact with color palettes 

  • Create dynamic scenes full of action and perspective 

  • Practice light, shadow, and detail through focused projects

  • Create 2D or 3D Lego inspired art pieces using your interests and imagination 

  • Explore printing and other new techniques to make art with Lego you never knew possible

  • Art Show of all of our amazing pieces
