Hi, I’m Katherine Parris — artist, educator, and founder of “Art with Ms. Parris.” For years, I had the joy of teaching hundreds of students in public schools, creating a classroom culture filled with joy, safety, creativity, and love.

But after a life-changing injury in the classroom, I stepped away from traditional teaching and into something new: a purpose-driven, heart-led mission to bring art, imagination, and hands-on learning directly to the community I love.

Now, I host virtual fine art studio and outdoor workshops and STEAM-based classes right here in Frisco — where kids and families can create, connect, and explore the beauty of creativity together. From messy masterpieces to thoughtful reflections, every project is rooted in kindness, curiosity, and the belief that every child has a masterpiece inside of them.

I’m also the author of My Coloring Book Bible, a 51-story visual journey from Genesis to Jesus. It’s my way of sharing faith through art — just like I do in person.
